Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day we decided to go to our place at the Tennessee River since we haven't been that much this year. So we packed our bags which now that we have Mize, this process takes a little bit longer and headed out. I was so excited because Mize was going to have Carly and Clara Lee to play with. We were trying to get there in time to go eat with everyone but we had a blow out on the boat trailer which put a small damper on the trip. Once that was fixed we had to make a quick stop at Wal Mart so it put us behind. While we were in line waiting to check out Aus disappeared with Mize and I got to looking for them and they had found a merry go round, so of course Mize wanted to ride so Aus put some money in the machine and round he went. He of course enjoyed every minute of it but once it came time to get off it hurt his feelings. So we checked out and headed to the River.
We finally made it around 10:00 and everyone got there shortly after so the girls came over to see Mize and they all played their little hearts out. There was a time when all three were on his dump truck trying to ride around the living room. When morning came we all got up and ate breakfast at Aunt Jen's and Uncle Fish's and then packed up and headed to the river. The weather was nice but was really hot so we either had to be in the water or riding down the river. That afternoon we all went to the sandbar and the kids got out and played with their toys, of course Mize was wanting to play in the water so we let him stay at the edge so he pushed his dump truck around in the water and just had a great time. Tennessee was playing the first game of the season so we got off early to watch the game and to eat some great food with some great people. All the kids were wore out but we all let them stay up and play until they had just played out.
The next morning it had cooled off and was cloudy but we ate and went ahead and got on the water but shortly after it started raining and we had to go in. Mize was so sleepy so i put him down and he slept most the afternoon. It was still raining so we all sat outside and played several games of Dominos. By nightfall it was still raining so we just took advantage of just being lazy. The next morning it was still raining so we packed up and headed home. Here are a few pics of a great weekend!
